So finally it's up. A small selection of work from my gypsy project, by no means is it meant to be a retrospective of a project which I've shot on and off over 17 years, it isn't comprehensive, it isn't everything, it isn't sponsored, it isn't framed. It's just 36 images from the project which I like at present which give a taste of what the whole project has, or involves. The vast majority of the images come from my last trip to the camp in September 2006, and probably because I'm least bored with these images so far. The older work I've seen so often I find it hard to get excited about anymore, although to many people it is still new. C'est la vie. Life's unfair, sorry.
Bit tired just now, so some more thoughts on the show, and the hanging of it, or the thoughts behind it, tomorrow....
Show is on at Konica Minolta Gallery
(even though pics were shot on Leicas, Rolliecord, and Mamiya 7), in Shinjuku, Tokyo, from 15th until 23rd February.
And for those with spare cash, there are a couple of images on sale at a special exhibition-only reduced price......
cheers,
jsh

Hey congrats and good luck, Jeremy. I'll definitely be in for a visit.
Cheers and beers
A monster effort - 17 years that is quite an adventure!
Spotted your project on Martine's site and wanted to show our support...best of luck!
Many thanks all for the words of encouragement, it's appreciated. Hope to be at the show if you pop by so I can say hello, and give you a guided tour of the pics.
Many thanks,
Jeremy
