I'm back

So I've returned from the edge of the map, back from an assignment on the Carterets Atoll of Papua New Guinea. It was a good trip, a good piece of adventure before Christmas comes.......
I won't be writing tonight, but will over the next few days, about the job and story. But here are some highlights.....acid ants eating my toe, tame birds, 4,000 freedom fighters/two murders, an island with no beer/ bottled water/ phone cards or fuel, Ron- A jimmy Shand loving driver, chartering a fishing boat, sailing with a crew from central casting, Welcome cermonies and school closings, factor80 suntan lotion that didn't work, few days of photographing islands which are sinking, and a few days of trying not to get mugged in Port Moresby......

To see where all this took place, here's a link to a Google Earth map of the Carterets.
You need to zoom in a bit.....!

Welcome back
Sounds like an adventure. I guess it must be scary to walk around Port Moresby with all your cameras. I`ve heard that is one of the most dangerous places on earth.
Anyway hope to catch up with you sometime over Christmas. If your free.
Take care
